I haven't updated this thinga-ma-jig in a while

Joyce just left this morning to Florida for two weeks, lucky her... I have to work Sunday and Monday, so no Memorial Day fun for me

As some of you know the Mavericks beat the San Antonio Spurs in 7 games, some are saying that it was one of the best playoff series in the history of Basketball, I'm not a big basketball fan, but it was a good series either way.

With the 16th pick in the NFL Draft the Miami Dolphins draft Jason Allen, Safety from Tennessee.

Well I read an article this morning on Slashdot about Interactive Fiction games and a short history on them.

Anyways, I found a site called "Mystery House Taken Over" that has several online IF (Interactive Fiction) games and I spent most of the day playing one in particular called Where there's a Will ( http://www.turbulence.org/Works/mystery/playgame.php?id=7 ) It had me stumped for a few minutes, but I finally beat it. Very amusing and it brought back memories of other memorable IF games like King's Quest and The Hobbit.

Thought I would share for those of you who might be interested in the same thing. It's like playing a game inside a book, and as most of you know I love reading and computers so this stuff is right up my alley. Well I've added some graphics to the site so it looks much better. Still working on creating all the necessary links and figuring out how to make everything work. For those interested in making your own, go to pages.google.com and sign up with your Google e-mail address, if you don't have a gmail address you should get one, it's by far the best web based e-mail service out there.

A little explanation, the pictures with the "Eterno Refugio" sign was at a nearby Spanish Church, I thought it was interestin, but may not make any sense to anyone else. :) The rest were taken a few miles from my house by an abandoned farm and a warehouse.

I'm in love with Scrat

I bet you are asking yourself who exactly "Scrat" is, and why he deserves my love. Well the answer is that Scrat is the "Saber Tooth" Squirrel from the Ice Age movies. I don't know what it is about that little squirrel that just cracks me up. Anyways, in honor of the new Ice Age movie coming out today, here's a short film of Scrat and his nuts.
